October 5 2025—Together with some friends, we started with giving out political stickers at the Red Line Protest in Amsterdam. Which turned out to be the third largest protest in the Netherlands in history.

The initial idea was just to raise money to buy our own professional printer.

But it was so much fun and people were so excited to help, that since then we’re present at every larger demonstration in the area. For instance the Climate March soon after, where we scaled up to giving out over 10.000 stickers.

January 16 2026—The special thing about stickers it that they bring people together.

Creating designs is a way to express yourself, distributing them in person leads to great conversations, the people stickering the stickers feel involved, and raising money means you can do things. It builds a real community.

In January we took another big step: we started self-printing stickers at home at scale.

This has huge benefits: we can cheaply and quickly produce new designs, meaning we can print the ideas of many more people. And we’re never out of stock without having to invest a lot in inventory. (all designs in the photo above are from different people)

March 2026—Another big step: we now have a webshop and our first real orders!

I send out the packages from my apartment, a few each day. Am really growing to love the walk to the post office in the morning! And it’s been amazing to send the stickers to cities & countries that we’d never reach otherwise.

April 2026—We started to print material for other activist groups as well. Mostly flyers for people who need them quickly, or stickers for specific campaigns.

We’re experimenting with printing for free in exchange for promotion. This could be such a nice marketing strategy if it works, instead of spending money on ads.

June 2026—Huge upgrade: we just got an automatic cutting machine!

Which is standard equipment in print shops, but also quite expensive. Ours is entirely funded through donations!

It will save SO MUCH time because you don’t have to measure the mm to cut by hand anymore, and can set presets for different sizes of stickers / flyers.

To try it out I made 350 small zines for a local activism conference. It takes some practice, but the results look much more professional also.

The machine lives in my bedroom right now until we find a better place for it.
